After
four hard fought games the Canes sled team took on the Ohio Warriors
for the second time this weekend, to play for the championship. After
a scoreless first period, Wolf Hulslander scored what ultimately
wound up being the game winner midway through the second period.
Steve Fortin shut the door on any potential comeback and sealed the C
Division National Championship at the 2016 USA Hockey National
Disabled Festival.
Steve
Fortin was named tournament MVP after not allowing a goal throughout
the five game tournament. Wolf received the Viking Helmet as the
player of the game for his hustle and lone goal.
